San Bernardino County continues to strengthen its business climate through the successful launch and expansion of BizHUUB, an innovative digital platform designed to connect local businesses with technical assistance, capital access resources, and trusted service providers. While the HUUB platform is nationally available, San Bernardino County customized and implemented its own local version that integrates regional partners, curates vetted service providers, and embeds the tool into its broader business retention and expansion strategy.

In less than one year since its launch, 252 businesses have joined the platform, with 40 businesses directly served through the technical assistance program and 400 advisory hours offered. Participants reflect a broad cross-section of the County’s entrepreneurial ecosystem: 48% are female business owners, 45% are solopreneurs, 53% operate home-based businesses, 29% have been operating for less than one year, and 28% have been operating for more than 10 years. Participating business owners reported engagements that improved revenue and operations, demonstrating the value of guidance received through BizHUUB in key areas, including finance, marketing and sales, and business strategy.

More than a software solution, BizHUUB has evolved into a coordinated ecosystem of support. County staff actively facilitate introductions beyond the platform, including connecting businesses to County departments, state and federal agencies, and local partners to accelerate problem-solving and growth. By integrating technology with personalized, relationship-driven service, San Bernardino County has strengthened its ability to retain, expand, and attract businesses.
